Prior to Works Commencing

To ensure the success of the project, it is essential that the following steps are taken:

1. Complete and Approve Design and Drawings:
   • Our aim is for design and drawings being finalized and approved to ensure clarity and precision in execution.
2. Consider Individual Requirements:
   • Evaluate the specific needs for plant and installation to tailor the project plan accordingly.
3. Issue Program and Requirements:
   • Distribute the project schedule and requirements to all relevant parties to ensure everyone is aligned.
4. Issue Individual Specifications:
   • Provide specific contractors and sub-contractors with detailed specifications relevant to their scope of work.
5. Develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements:
   • Create comprehensive risk assessments and method statements for our own works and obtain the same from specialist sub-contractors.
6. Project-Specific Health and Safety Requirements:
   • Address health and safety requirements, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.
7. Plan PPE Distribution:
   • Ensure the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) is planned and distributed effectively.

Delivering the Project

To ensure complete client satisfaction and meet all pre-set targets, we will implement the following:

1. Strong Management Team:
   • Assemble a robust management team, including engineers, project managers, and specialist managers, to liaise with main contractors, client-nominated consultants, and architects.
2. Agree on Target Programme:
   • Collaborate with main contractors to establish a target programme and hold regular meetings to monitor adherence.
3. Supply Chain Management:
   • Conduct close management and regular review meetings with all supply chain organizations for the procurement of plant and materials.
4. Monitor RFIs:
   • Keep a close watch on all Requests for Information (RFIs) and responses to ensure necessary information is available when needed.
5. Control Drawing Issuance:
   • Maintain stringent control over all drawings issued using drawing issue/transmittal sheets.

On Site

1. Daily Liaison:
   • Our project management team will liaise daily with our workforce, suppliers, and specialist subcontractors to meet targets and prevent delays. They will also work closely with nominated main contractor personnel for efficient information transfer and to foster good working relationships.
2. Electronic Communication:
   • Equip our on-site management team with necessary electronic communication systems to maintain up-to-date information.

Health & Safety

1. Training:
   • Ensure all operatives are fully trained in health and safety practices, including ECS and CSCS certifications.
2. Defined Roles and Responsibilities:
   • Clearly define and continually monitor roles and responsibilities for health and safety.
3. Hazard Identification:
   • Identify all health and safety hazards and communicate this information through regular toolbox talks and warning notices.
4. Continuous Monitoring:
   • Senior managers will be responsible for continuous on-site health and safety monitoring, ensuring new issues are promptly identified and addressed.
5. Health & Safety Advisors:
   • Utilize our Health & Safety advisors for ongoing support and periodic reviews.

Risk Assessment & Method Statements

1. Risk Assessments:
   • Assess health and safety risks and produce specific documents for each aspect of the project.
2. Method Statements:
   • Develop method statements that detail the installation methods and appropriate use of access equipment, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
